What this Privacy Policy Covers

  • This Privacy Policy covers ACAMs's treatment of personally identifiable information that ACAMs collects when you are on the ACAMs site, and when you use ACAMs's services.
  • This policy also covers ACAMs's treatment of any personally identifiable information that ACAMs's business partners share with ACAMs or that ACAMs may collect on a partner's site. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that ACAMs does not own or control, or to people that ACAMs does not employ or manage. In addition, this policy does not apply to ACAMs NetRoadshow, which has its own privacy policy, or to ACAMs financial products and services, which are covered by Privacy Information.

Information Collection and Use

  • ACAMs collects personally identifiable information when you register for a ACAMs account, when you use certain ACAMs products or services, when you visit ACAMs pages, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. ACAMs may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners.
  • When you register with ACAMs, we ask for your name, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. Once you register with ACAMs and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. ACAMs also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, ACAMs cookie information and the page you requested.
  • ACAMs uses information for three general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to contact you about specials and new products.

  • ACAMs will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.

  • We will share Personal Information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of 1099 Pro/ACA Comply/TinCheck to facilitate a business transfer, such as to a buyer or other successor in the event of merger, acquisition, consolidation, divestiture, change in control, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of 1099 Pro/ACA Comply/TinCheck assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by 1099 Pro/ACA Comply/TinCheck about its visitors and users will be among the assets to be transferred, and any such successor may use your information for the same purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy.

  • ACAMs may set and access ACAMs cookies on your computer.
  • ACAMs allows other companies that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to ACAMs's cookies.
  • ACAMs uses web beacons to access our cookies within and outside our network of web sites and in connection with ACAMs products and services.

  • ACAMs gives you the ability to edit your ACAMs Account Information and preferences at any time, including whether you want ACAMs to contact you about specials and new products.
  • You may request deletion of your ACAMs account by visiting our Account Deletion page, verifying your password once more and confirming your choice to terminate the account.

  • Your ACAMs Account Information is password-protected for your privacy and security.
  • In certain areas ACAMs uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.
